Stevie's Boyz Championship Videos!

Finally, after much demand, I got some videos on youtube of the unforgettable football game between Big Blue and our own Stevie's Boyz. Showing below is some clips of the football game and the celebrations afterward; these are just a little sampling of the remarkable game.

The end of the game + celebrations

and this is the beginning of the second half

I Can't Believe What Happened

At about 8:30 tonight, an arab terrorist walked into a school just two minutes away from us, and started shooting students in the dining room. Of the 80 students in the room, at least 8 were killed and at least 9 were wounded. Some say there was a second or third terrorist but from the more recent reports it seems likely that there was only one shooter. More info about it at yeshiva world and google news.

Stevie's Boyz Wins The Championship!

After upsetting Tov Pizza with a comeback with one second left last week, most people thought Stevie's Boyz was gonna win for sure. But 15 minutes into the second half it was 21-0 Big Blue (grandpas), and everyone thought that they're definitely losing (except for me). But they came back with a force scoring a touchdown to make it 21-6 and getting myself ejected. After getting Big Blue to punt, they scored again and went for 2 making it 21-14 with 2 minutes left.

Now with 2 minutes left Big Blue gets shutdown again and has to punt it with 1 minute left. Alex is cool and calm, as usual, but with 30 seconds left he was stuck at his own 10 yard line at 3rd down. He cooly threw it to Manny to get within a yard of the first down. 4th down, 25 seconds left, Alex gets a 7 yard pass to Manny and it's first down again. Alex throws it up to Ezab and he catches it at the 5 yard line. 12 seconds left, Alex hooks up Manny for the touchdown, 21-20, and now the decision came to go for 1 or for 2. Stevie Shalam, sponsor of the team for 3 years, says go for 1. Alex denies him and says, "No, we're going for two". Alex caught Manny on the right side, and all the fans ran onto the field.

Big Blue goes for their last downs. First play, grandpa quarterback throws it in the stands. Second play, he throws it on the floor. For the third and final play, he catches some guy at the 35 yard line who laterals is to some loser who laterals it to the floor. Game over. Stevie's Boyz wins! And that was the cue for a five hundred people to storm the field.

This Blog Will Be Closed Until Further Notice

Due to no internet access in the yeshiva, I will not be writing on this blog until I can get steady access again. For all those who stayed around telling me they want me to write more, thanks, but not now, maybe one day. Come back to check the blog every so often to see if I start writing again. Thanks and peace out, Judah
